What it does
The tool is explicit about a real trade-off: locked axes preserve exact geometry, unlocked axes rebuild it as facets. A live note tells you which path the current settings take.

Lock axes
On gives one factor and exact geometry, so curves stay curves. Off gives independent X/Y/Z with geometry rebuilt as facets.
Factor sliders
X / Y / Z factors from 0.1–5.0×.
Scale from
Centre, Base (stays on its level), or Corner.
Convert when needed
Family instances become a DirectShape at the new size.
Smart status
Reports how many selected elements are scalable versus needing conversion, with live preview.
